The mission of the DiversityFIRST™ Disability Inclusion Academy is to be a resource to both individuals and organizations seeking to achieve disability inclusion. The academy blends theory and practice over a 6-hour interactive curriculum, with the development of an action plan to effectively achieve disability inclusion for greatest business impact through talent acquisition, customer service, unconscious bias mitigation, culture change, and compliance. Upon completion of the academy, participants will: ● Articulate the compelling business case for disability inclusion. ● Apply competencies needed for successful disability inclusion leadership. ● Help their organization achieve the transformation to attract and retain employees with disabilities. ● Develop an action plan with strategies and tactics for disability inclusion.
